Create video embedded posts in bulk

    I’ve tried using Mass Pages/Posts Creator, BulkPress, WP Create Multiple Posts & Pages, and Quick Bulk Post & Page Creator to see if I can generate links posts where, I give a link to the plugin interface with or without a title and it generates a post with a YouTube embedded post within, but no luck. I don’t know if I am doing something wrong but one of the above plugins should give me what I am looking for but no success so far. Maybe I am trying to do it wrong. Can anyone here try it with a blank WordPress installation and test for me? I would really appreciate that.

    What’s happening when you run it, do the posts get created with the URL sitting there as plain text or a link, or does the content come out empty?

    Asking because WordPress only auto embeds a URL if it’s on its own line and isn’t already wrapped in a link. So if the tool lets you set post content per row, putting just the YouTube URL in there, nothing else on that line, should give you the player on the front end. If a tool only takes titles and has no content field, there’s nothing for WordPress to embed, which would explain what you’re seeing.

    You may be approaching it from the wrong angle. Instead of relying on a bulk post plugin to automatically create YouTube embedded posts, I would first test one post manually in a fresh WordPress installation. You can paste the YouTube URL into the WordPress editor and check whether it automatically creates the embed. Once that works, you can look for a bulk publishing plugin that supports the same content structure. If your goal is also to add related resources, make sure the links are relevant to the post rather than generating large numbers of low quality pages.
