kadence heading taking all input

    I am building a home page. I have completed a heading with logo and website title. I have chosent the global site colour as F5F0E0 yet come what may and many hours help from AI (!) it will not let me build the home page. any impout using blocks or advanced blocks adds any content into the heading. If you look at the link you will see that it lets me input on the ‘grey area’ below the heading – but then puts the content into the heading. But won’t let me put any content at all into the beige area.

    Thanks for getting in touch!

    I checked your website and your homepage is currently showing up blank.

    That “grey area” you are seeing is the theme’s built-in Page Title / Hero Section, which is why any content entered there is being pulled into the heading instead of the page body.

    To clear this and build directly on your #F5F0E0 beige background:

    1. Edit the homepage in WordPress.
    2. Click the Page Settings icon in the upper right toolbar (next to the Kadence ‘K’).
    3. Under Page Title, toggle it to Disable.
    4. Set Page Layout to Fullwidth and Content Style to Unboxed.
    5. Click into the canvas, insert a Kadence Row Layout block, and save/update the page.

    This removes the separate title container so you can build across your full page body. Let me know if you run into any trouble after trying this!

    I could hug you – I spent literally 3 hours trying to work that out, and asked Claude who obviously hadn’t a clue and had me running round in circles! Thank you so much!
