About the first idea, I’m thinking on how could we make this to be elegant and intuitive within the UI
On the second, looks a good option. I think I can add it to the list and release it soon, something to toggle the stats bar in the post or the shortcode is pretty easy. I’ve already added https://github.com/SirLouen/gpx-route-map/issues/3
We need to give a second look to the first one to see how to make it fit. It’s easy but the interface was inspired by gpx studio and they dont add that download button in their default viewer.
IMHO it doesn’t look very good on mobile, with the empty box next to Waypoints. Also – again imho – there is too much padding around the boxes in the stats bar. The space between the words elevation/loss and elevation/gain could be less or simply change it to up and down or gain and loss.
In my case all routes have the same starting and ending point so I could do with just three boxes: distance, elevation and max elevation. Being able to do that by just ticking a box or something would be very nice.
@lesi nice idea. I didn’t thought it that way. I’ve added a custom selector to remove individually any of the fields. Now any of the elements could be remove on demand, including the whole stats bar items, any of the individual elements, or the elevation graph. (version 1.5.0)
