“DELETE” for Knowledge API endpoints

    I have connected MxChat Knowledge Base with SharePoint via PowerAutomate HTTP.

    I was able to successfully POST content when created or edited in SharePoint.

    What I want that DELETE works also when file is deleted in SharePoint. Otherwise, the content would become pollution in MxChat knowledge base.

    Can you confirm whether DELETE also works for Knowledge Base API Endpoints?

    If delete method not available, can a POST work for delete action?

    hi @jeriss,

    Not yet — the API currently has POST /knowledge but no DELETE, and a POST can’t stand in for one (empty content is rejected). Good news: a DELETE /wp-json/mxchat/v1/knowledge endpoint that removes an entry by source_url (single or batched) is approved and in development, using the same bearer token you already use. In the meantime, re-POSTing the same source_url replaces that entry, so updates stay clean; only deletions have to wait. I’ll post here when it ships.
