Update Issues with RTL

    Hello dear Masteriyo

    I tried the Demo of Masteriyo lms, When the website is RTL, in the learn page, in the video lesson, the logo is in top right and the gear icon (or the setting icon) is also on the logo and when the share video option is on, the share video arrow it’s gonna be also on the gear icon.(tested in real mobile. Maybe desktop and tablet also have the same issues).

    When in RTL, in learn page, in video lesson, When i scroll down, the backward/forward buttons of the video player will be over the footer of the learn page(the footer which has mark as complete button). I tested in desktop mode. Especially when learn page is in dark mode, those two buttons of the video player will appear on the Learn page footer. (tested in laptop. Maybe mobile and tablet also have the same issues). And also the buttons in the accessibility look weird in rtl. The the timestamps of the videos of the video lesson and audio lesson should be filled from left to right during student watching the lesson, but they will be filled from Right to left whole the player is left to right.

    The email text alinements and punctuations are not working correctly for RTL texts. When there is an Arabic sentence for example in the text of the email(any email: to the student etc) when i click to make it RTL, it’ll be LTR. And the punctuations such as “، and .” will be in the beginning of the sentence. They should be at the end of the sentence because the Arabic sentence is from right, to the left.

    In Quizzes, when i write an English question with English punctuation, the punctuation will be RTL because the WordPress website is RTL. And also tge English quiz will be rtl too while it should be LTR. In most of the part where there is no Gutenberg editor or classic editor sych as in FAQ and quizzes etc, the problem of RTL, LTR happens.

    Thank you for testing this so thoroughly and writing it up in such detail, it made the issues easy to pin down.

    We’ve confirmed the RTL problems you described in the video lesson player, the email templates, and the quiz and FAQ fields, and we’ve already implemented fixes for all of them. In short: the player’s logo, settings and share controls no longer overlap, the seek buttons no longer show through the lesson footer, emails now keep their direction all the way to the inbox (with a proper RTL/LTR control added to the email editor), and English text in quizzes and FAQs now reads left-to-right with its punctuation in the right place, even on an RTL site.

    These will ship in an upcoming release. In the meantime, we’re happy to send you a build with the fixes included so you can verify them on your own site right away. Please let us know, and we’ll share it with you.

    A couple of the points you raised were also already resolved in our current release, so updating to the latest version will clear those immediately.

    I can wait till the next update. Something else i noticed while testing the lms in Masteriyo demo, in the email settings, switching to Gutenberg was added to the email text customization, but when i click on the button, the page will be refreshed but the editor of email won’t change to Gutenberg.
