    @forallatlantis,

    Thank you for raising this. I’m a little surprised as this element should always exist.

    Can I ask you to edit your taxonomy by using the taxonomy administration screen and go to the Visibility tab? At the bottom is the show_in_rest value. Simply update the taxonomy. This should ensure that the value is set. You can confirm its content by using the Export PHP function and seeing the contents of the taxonomy.

    Has it worked previously? What version of PHP now fails please?
