Since today’s update on WPvivid Plugins Pro (2.2.50) and WPvivid Backup Plugin (0.9.134) database backups (incremental or manual) fail consistently.

Incremental scheduled backups say sth like:

    Domain: https://www.xyz.com

Backup: Failed. /home/wordpress/www.xyz.com/wp-content/wpvividbackups/www.xyz.com_wpvivid-35e2d7261e457_2026-09-01-14-32_backup_db.zip not found. The file might has been moved, renamed or deleted. Please back it up again.

    Backup Type: Manual

    Start Time: 09-01-2026 14:32:58

    End Time: 09-01-2026 14:37:19

    Running Time: 261s

    Backed up to: SFTP

    Backup Content: Database,

    PHP-Logfile says:

[01-Sep-2026 09:44:17 UTC] PHP Warning: filesize(): stat failed for /home/wordpress/www.xyz.com/wp-content/wpvividbackups/www.xyz.com_wpvivid-9b0ab28e6f508_2026-09-01-11-40_backup_db.zip in /home/wordpress/www.xyz.com/wp-content/plugins/wpvivid-backup-pro/addons2/backup_pro/class-wpvivid-sftpclass-addon.php on line 707

Manual backup to cloud/sftp doesn’t work either.

Looking into /home/wordpress/www.xyz.com/wp-content/wpvividbackups one can wittness the creation of two sql-files and subsequently the .zip file/s

Shortly after they disappear and an error message is shown.

Nothing is transferred to the sftp server either.

Needless to say everything worked right until I updated both plugins today.

    Please advise.

    Regards

    Chris

For anyone who’s looking for an answer: issue seems to be addressed in version 2.2.51. Better not autoupdate your plugins rather wait a little, right?
