    Hi,

my foogallery pictures do not show in editor any more, but they do appear in frontend (that’s the good news). After endless checks I found out that polylang is the problem (when polylang is deactivated, everything is fine). Discussion with ChatGPT informed me that in version 3.2.0 there was a change of polylang integration in foogallery, which might cause the problem. I recognized the problem right now, but it might be around 4 weeks old (before that time, everything worked fine). I use version 3.2.6 and polylang 3.8.7 on generatepress theme.

Measures so far: cleared all caches I could find, tried a rollback to May 2026, changed lazy loading setup, nothing worked. I do not use any caching plugin. On a test post, I get the following red errors in console:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading ‘mark’) at Module.<anonymous> (index.js?ver=1788095737:34:113483) at n (index.js?ver=1788095737:1:110) at index.js?ver=1788095737:1:902 at index.js?ver=1788095737:1:913

Do you have any solution for my problem?

    Thanks and regards,

    Peter

    Hi Peter,

Thanks for the detailed report. We have reproduced the missing FooGallery images in the block editor with FooGallery 3.2.6 and Polylang 3.8.7. The same gallery renders again when Polylang is disabled, and the frontend gallery data remains intact.

Our testing points to a compatibility problem in how the editor request filters FooGallery’s selected attachments by language. We are now validating the smallest safe fix and the affected versions. Please do not delete or rebuild the gallery, and we do not want to promise a release date until the fix has completed testing and review.

The block-options / styles-manager-addon.js console messages are from the EditorsKit / Block Options plugin and are a separate issue. We reproduced those messages even when the FooGallery preview was working, so they are not the cause of this FooGallery/Polylang problem.

We will update this topic when the FooGallery fix has passed testing. If your WordPress or PHP versions differ from the current releases, please share those versions as well, as they will help us cover your environment in the final checks.

    hi @paganini58

Just an update on this issue.

We have released FooGallery v3.3.3 today which fixes the compatibility problem with Polylang. It should be available to update in a few hours.

I am therefore resolving this thread. Please let us know how it works for you either way
