Has the plugin stopped working?

    Until last week, the plugin was working perfectly. I just noticed that the thumbnails are no longer being converted to WebP. I believe this may have happened after the latest WordPress update.

    Will there be a new update to the plugin? It’s a really great plugin, and congratulations to the developer for creating it. You’re a good person for making such a useful tool.

    I found the issue. Only the .png images are not converting the thumbnails correctly; they end up as .pnj.

    And for .jpg images to work perfectly, the option “Append the generated images extension (webp,avif) to the original filename” needs to be enabled.
