• Hi,
I have created 2 taxonomy using ACF plugin.
Those taxonomy are connected to ‘Products’.
    – Articolo
    – Artista

Both of them are displayed with a default template.
    I need to:
    1. disable archives for ‘Articolo’ and
    2. change the template for ‘Artista’ as I want to display the customised fields added with ACF.

I have created the template using Jupiter X theme ‘Layout builder’ in ‘Archive’ and also in ‘Product archive’ but the taxonomy doesn’t show on both ‘Display condition’ sections.

I have checked the ACF Taxonomy settings and everything is ok and public.
I have edited different settings but nothing to do.

Are you able to fix this problem please?
    It’s quite urgent!

  • Hello @silviasciuto,

Thank you for reaching out! I understand the urgency of getting these product taxonomy templates working correctly, and I’m more than happy to help point you in the right direction.

To disable the frontend archive for your “Articolo” taxonomy while keeping it available in the backend for your products, you’ll need to adjust its visibility settings. Edit the “Articolo” taxonomy in ACF, turn the main Public switch OFF, and then turn the Advanced Configuration switch ON. Next, navigate to the Visibility tab that appears and ensure Show in UI is turned ON.

For your “Artista” taxonomy not appearing in the Jupiter X Layout Builder conditions, third-party page builders typically require specific configurations to recognize custom data. Please edit the “Artista” taxonomy, ensure the main Public toggle is ON, and then turn on Advanced Configuration. Under the REST API tab, confirm that Show In REST API is enabled, as builders often rely on the REST API to populate their dropdown menus.

Since Jupiter X uses its own proprietary display conditions engine, if those settings are already correct and the builder still cannot see the taxonomy, it may require a specific theme-level integration. If that is the case, please open a support ticket with us directly at support so our team can investigate this compatibility further with you!

    Best regards,
    Pat
