Recovery mode not working

Hi,
I made a fatal php error on one of my sites. I was making a debug script en wanted to show the results in querymonitor (or variable inspector).

When the error occurred QM just showed it and no recovery mail was send. I triggered the mail by opening the site in an other browser where I was not logged into it.
But then the site just says: ‘Recovery Mode not initialized.’
Is querymonitor preventing recovery mode to work?? I did not set any config/settings, just only installed the plugin.
Can I add a parameter to the url, to bypass querymonitor?

Because my son is on holiday, I can not access the site through cli or ftp. It is not in production yet, so no real problem, but very annoying.

I hope there is some url-parameter.
And I asume this is not how it is supposed to work.
