    Hey!

Thanks for answering my previous Q about separate websites for one company. I am now actively working on that.

In the meantime we do have one more very important thing. Since our company serve EU clients and booking data is stored on simplyook.me’s servers (right?) rather than my own database, is it GDPR-compliant for EU customers, and where are servers actually located or maybe is it stored on WordPress side and it is under your control?

    Thank you in advance!

    BR, Robert

    Hi @hairbeautystudio,

Bookings are indeed stored by SimplyBook.me, not in your WordPress database. This plugin connects your site to that service, but it does not keep the booking records on your own server.

With regards to the GDPR and where data is being stored exactly, SimplyBook.me publishes this information directly:

    GDPR compliance information: https://simplybook.me/en/legal/gdpr-compliance
Privacy policy (including storage location): https://simplybook.me/en/policy
    Data Processing Agreement: https://simplybook.me/en/legal/dpa

Those are the most appropriate sources to use for EU clients. If you require further clarification about any of this, I’d highly recommend reaching out to the SimplyBook.me DPO directly (via the email address listed on their GDPR Compliance Information page).

Hope this helps, but just let us know if you have any further questions about the plugin.

    Kind regards, Jarno
