When customers purchase a membership product, they appear as guest accounts in Stripe. When I tested using a sandbox in Stripe, they did not have the “Guest” label, but when I switched to live mode that label started to appear.

In the plugin settings, I have “Allow customers to checkout without logging in.” turned on, and in WooCommerce “Customers can create an account before placing their order.” is checked, and are forced to create an account or be logged in.

Is there a reason why that “Guest” label appears when using live Stripe accounts?

    Hi there,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

The issue was caused by how the Stripe plugin attaches a customer to the payment when using guest accounts.

We have added a fix to ensure that the customer is always available for the payment, regardless of whether you are using sandbox or live mode.

Please update the plugin to the latest version and try again.

    Thank you!
