• this plugin is great — testing it now with WP 7.1

    Some things that would improve it:

    • the background image position from your video does not show in the latest version under slide sidebar? (update: if i click on the background image in sidebar, a modal comes up. so perhaps just a new version since video)
    • when designing components, follow the official WP Gutenberg project style guide in Figma for the design of the components (ex: the focal point picker)
    • the content layout dropdown should be replaced with the gutenberg layout component also. the dropdown is tedious to use.
    • the content layout dropdown does not position content correctly. ex: bottom left places the content in the upper right corner of the slide.

    @jhmonroe We will work on these issues in the next release. I’ll get back to you then.

    Thanks for all the suggestions.

    Excellent! You and a small amount of people are building gutenberg *any block inside* sliders. it’s the future and you’ve done good work!

    @istiakrayhan found one more bug:

    the active dot disappears on white backgrounds.

    Might be simpler CSS if they are not hard-coded #fff but are a variable that inherits like 75% or 50% of the other dot colors

    @jhmonroe We will also work on that as well. I’ll keep you updated.
