New feature : delete attached media with post

    Hi Shahadat,

    I suggest new feature for plugin : when post is deleted automatically, all the attached media are deleted too if they are not used anymore. This feature could be activated in settings panel.

    Hi @nemasoft ,

    Thanks for the great suggestion! I’m already working on this — automatically deleting attached media when a post is deleted, but only if the media isn’t used elsewhere. It’ll be an optional setting, so you can toggle it on or off.

    This will be part of the next update. Appreciate you helping improve the plugin!

    Great news — this feature is already live! We just released version 2.0.2 with exactly this: attached media (of any file type) is automatically deleted when a post is permanently deleted, as long as it’s not still in use elsewhere. You can enable it via the new “Delete Attached Media” option in settings.

    Please update the plugin and give it a try. Let me know if you run into anything!
