Feature Request: Block Editor Dark Mode

Seriously it is strenuous staring at a 24 inch lightbulb whenever I need to write a new post. I’ve tried dark reader and other chrome extensions and they do nothing, I’ve also tried to get the block editor to match my theme, but no dice.

Is there anyone else out there who has gotten the background of the block editor for posts to be black or dark? I don’t care if my actual post on the site will look like that or not, I just don’t wanna stare at bright white lights while I’m trying to write a new post.

Is there really no way to change the background within the editor?
