WordPress 7.1 broke
-
Dear sirs,
I just got wordpress update 7.1, and after updating the site broke, I found that if I shut down the wordpress plugin the site goes back, so I had to go back full backup and disable wordpress 7.1 update.
Thanks,

Hi, NITROFOX.
Do you, by any chance, use WP Rocket?
Hi @mllapan,
Yes, use WP Rocket, but problem is elementor plugin.I use both too, and if I disable WP Rocket I have no problem, or if I disable Elementor PRO I have no problem, so it could be in one of either of them.
I contacted WP Rocket too.

Hi,
I noticed the same thing, when WpRocket is on, the site is broke. Disabling Wp rocket and all is fine.

Update WP Rocket, they solved it and sent me fix.
@mllapan
Thanks for the heads up!WP Rocket Update solves this? i have Version 3.23.2.1 active and get blank white screen when logging in.
@nickfarelli
Yes, I updated to 3.23.2.1 and now I can update WordPress to newest version, without getting a blanc screen.
If you can no longer get in at this moment, please rename the wprocket folder using ftp program or cPanel host. After that you can log in again and upload the newest version of WP rocket. Once that is done, rename the wprocket folder again to its original name and activate in wordpress.-

Hi,
Thank you for reporting this.
We have not received reports of a compatibility issue with Elementor following the latest WordPress update. Elementor is built to work with most WordPress themes and plugins that follow WordPress standards, and our updates include ongoing compatibility improvements with WordPress itself.
Based on the replies in this thread, the issue appears to be related to WP Rocket. Other users have reported that disabling WP Rocket resolves the problem, and updating WP Rocket to version 3.23.2.1 appears to have resolved the conflict for some users.
We recommend updating WP Rocket to the latest version first. If the issue persists, please reach out to WP Rocket support for further investigation. If their team confirms that the issue is related to Elementor, please let us know and we’ll be happy to look into it further.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Let us know if you have any further concerns about this.
Hi @mariellec ,
Thanks for the information about WP-Rocket, it actually seemed to be connected, although there are still realts (example https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/65919), I did the update and for now seems to be resolved.
Strange that if I deactivated elementor plugin, the site would work, even with wp-rocket, but now they both work after the wp-rocket update.
Thanks, -
