What emails is this plugin counting?

    I received an email stating I sent 30 emails, up by 25. Yet I have not sent any emails. So what is being counted? All emails being sent by the email address outside of WordPress?

    That is not what I want.

    Can someone clarify please?

    Your weekly email summary includes all emails sent from our website, regardless of what part of your site they came from.

    Also, WP Mail SMTP can’t report any emails sent from outside WordPress.

    So I am not sending any emails from my website. I had two right after installing the plugin. So why is it counting 30 emails sent?

    I am confused. And now concerned.

    Hi @officewife

    You don’t need to send emails manually, all automated emails from your site, either from plugins, or WordPress itself will be counted.

    I recommend that you install WP Mail Logging and let it run so it records emails going out from your site, then you will be able to see where they are from and where they are going.
