Apple Pay button – Payment Not Completed

    Hi,
    I get the error “Payment Not Completed” when trying to pay with Apple Pay express checkout button.
    This problem happened recently after update 9.2.1 – 2026-07-27.
    I will appreciate if anyone can help!

    It works in Sandbox mode but not in Production.

    Hi @jigneshmpatel,

    Thank you for the new fix. I installed the new version but it didn’t resolve my issue.

    When I put the website in Sandbox mode, it works. I think the problem can be related with the domain verification but, the “.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association” file is existing on my website and the domain is also added on PayPal and everything was working before around 21 July.

    I have to mention that, I have also tried other alternative plugins and they have the same issue however, this is not the only website I have this problem and all my websites using PayPal plugins even on a different server have the same issue.

    I found the issue! I was using the special character ™ in the WordPress Site Title setting which was making this issue.

    Thank you for identifying the issue. We’ll fix the special character handling so that characters like ™ in the WordPress Site Title do not cause Apple Pay payment failures.

    Hi @jigneshmpatel,

    Another solution is to use “Brand Name” value from plugin settings, Additional Settings tab, instead of WordPress Site Title. This solution will allow us to use different name on Apple Pay as the website title may be long or include special characters.
