     “Debug Code: wpstg-6V9ijvC9-17320

    Hi,

I created a staging site to update my WordPress instance, theme, and plugins. However, errors appeared on the staging site and not all images loaded correctly, so I decided to delete the site and recreate it. Unfortunately, the dashboard doesn’t show that the site exists; instead, it displays a “Create staging site” prompt. Consequently, I cannot delete it, and I would prefer not to manually remove files from the server or tables from the database.
Is there anything else I can do besides manually deleting the staging site?
    Regards,

    Jacek

    Hello @jacekkrk

Hope you’re having a great day! Thanks for the detailed info.

Since your dashboard now shows no staging site at all, but the files/tables are still there, it looks like the site’s entry got removed from that list some other way (rather than through a completed delete) – do you recall exactly how you removed it? That’ll help us figure out if something else went wrong.

At this point, manual cleanup is the only way to fully remove it. The good news is staging data is fully self-contained and separate from your live site, so this is low-risk as long as you target the right items

If you’d rather not do this yourself, we’re happy to remove it for you. For that, please contact us directly so that we can get secure information to do the job,

    Hi,
I don’t recall taking any action to delete the test site. I only noticed that there was no information about it in the panel when I tried to delete it.

Before I delete this site, I would also like to know what could have caused errors that weren’t present on the original site (I’ve added an example of the error message that appears on the page below) and why the images weren’t copied to the test site (after clicking on the image, a message appears that the file doesn’t exist).
Is this related to any specific plugin settings that need to be defined before creating the test site?

    Cheers

    Hi @jacekkrk

Please share your site’s system information from (WP STAGING > System Info) via this form and we will help you further from there.

    Thanks,
    Alaa
