    Hey how are you Jordi?

    so i notice on the wp-crontrol plugin i have.

    i see 2 cronjobs:

    five_seconds

    This schedule is added by another plugin and cannot be deleted 5 (5 seconds)
     This interval is less than the WP_CRON_LOCK_TIMEOUT constant which is set to 60 seconds. Events that use it may not run on time. Every 5 Seconds

    and another one:

    one_minute

    This schedule is added by another plugin and cannot be deleted 60 (1 minute)

    Now i checked this and AI Engine create them…

    i dont have problem with the one minute, but 5 second? every 5 second have a cronjob? for what Jordi? it not dangerous?

    Hi @123nadav,

    Nothing dangerous here! 😊 Those are two schedule definitions, not two jobs running. AI Engine only schedules one actual event: on a normal site, the Tasks runner every minute (the one you are fine with). The five-second schedule is only used when Dev Mode is enabled (Settings, Dev Tools), so developers can watch background tasks instantly. If Dev Mode is off, that interval just sits unused in the list. You can confirm in the Cron Events tab: if you see mwai_tasks_internal_dev_run there, Dev Mode is on; turn it off and the plugin swaps it back to the one-minute event automatically.

    Also, even when it does run, each tick is a very fast and light request, just a couple of tiny database queries taking a few milliseconds. And WP-Cron only fires when your site gets traffic, with WP_CRON_LOCK_TIMEOUT preventing overlaps, so a five-second interval cannot hammer your server anyway.
