Critical errors on multiple WordPress sites related to Easy Bootstrap Shortcode

    Hi,

    Over the last few hours, I have received several WordPress notifications saying that some of the websites I manage are experiencing technical issues.

    I checked the error messages, and all of them seem to be related to the Easy Bootstrap Shortcode plugin. The same problem has appeared on several different websites.

    Is this a known issue with the latest version of the plugin?

    What would you recommend doing at this point? Should I temporarily disable the plugin and wait for an update, or is there another recommended solution?

    Hi,

    Thank you for letting us know.

    Could you please send us the exact error messages you’re seeing, along with any relevant screenshots or WordPress Site Health/error log details? If possible, please also let us know:

    • Which websites are affected
    • The WordPress version on the affected sites
    • Whether the issue started immediately after the plugin was updated or on new installation.

    Once we have those details, we can investigate whether this is a known issue with the latest plugin version and advise whether the plugin should be temporarily disabled or if there is another workaround.

    In the meantime, please hold off on making any changes to the affected sites until we’ve had a chance to review the errors, if possible.

    Hi,

    The issue has been resolved in the latest version of the plugin.

    Please delete the existing Easy Bootstrap Shortcode plugin from the affected site, then download the updated plugin and reinstall it.

    Once reinstalled, the issue should be resolved.

    Thank you for your reply.

    I can provide the exact error messages, screenshots, affected website addresses, WordPress versions, and the relevant Site Health/error log details.

    However, some of this information may contain sensitive data, so I would prefer not to post it publicly on the forum.
