    Hi, @fscbmwcca

    I hope you’re doing well.

I had a look at your website and noticed a JavaScript error on the homepage. It seems to be related to the SiteGround Optimizer plugin, and I’m guessing it might be caused by its caching feature.

Could you please go to the plugin settings and try purging all the cache? Then check the homepage again and see if the issue is gone.

    Hopefully, that fixes it!

Let me know how it goes. If the issue is still there, we can take a closer look and figure it out together.

thanks, I cleared the cache and that didn’t work so deactivated that plugin and it’s working. I’ll have to figure out if it’s the plugin setting or what’s going on.

thanks everyone for all your help!

Just an update, I disabled the following option in the Siteground Optimizer plugin and that seems to be the culprit. So it seems it doesn’t have to do with the caching.

    Minify JavaScript Files RECOMMENDED
Minify your JavaScript files in order to reduce their size and the number of requests on the server.

    Hi @fscbmwcca,

Thanks so much for the follow-up. I’m really glad you were able to track down the cause and get everything working again.

You may not necessarily need to disable the option completely, though. There should be an option in the plugin to exclude specific JavaScript files from being minified, so you could try excluding the relevant plugin files instead.

That way, you can keep JavaScript minification enabled for the rest of your site while avoiding the conflict.

And of course, if you run into anything else or have any questions along the way, please don’t hesitate to reach out. You can always count on us to help however we can! 😊
