    Hi,

I’m using Booking Package version 1.7.22.

I have a problem with two fields having the same Unique ID.

The built-in Guests field has the ID <span style="font-family: inherit; font-size: 0.8rem; text-align: initial;">guest</span>. I also created a custom field using Add input field, and unfortunately it also has the ID <span style="font-family: inherit; font-size: 0.8rem; text-align: initial;">guest</span>.

In the notification settings, both fields therefore appear with the same shortcode:

    [guests]

For example, the shortcode list shows:

    [guests] → “Guests”
    [guests] → “Vendégek / Guests”

I cannot edit the Unique ID of my custom field in the admin interface.

I need the two fields to have different IDs/shortcodes so that I can display the value of my custom field separately in the notification email.

Is there a way to change the Unique ID of the custom input field, or otherwise distinguish the two [guests] fields?

    Thank you!

    Hello,

Thank you for reaching out and using Booking Package.

Please note that once a Unique ID for an input field is created and registered, it cannot be modified or edited from the admin interface.

To resolve this issue, please follow the steps below:

    1. Delete the custom input field that currently uses the duplicate guest Unique ID.
    2. Add a new input field and enter a different, unique ID for it.

Once you recreate the field with a new Unique ID, a separate shortcode will be generated for it, allowing you to display its value individually in your notification emails.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

    Best regards,
