Can’t Login to WordPress site

this site was created in 2009, and I believe it was on a WordPress server. I never had to get a host for it. I can’t login now as the admin email address provider. charter.net is no longer in business or was bought out by spectrum internet. I recall seeing a message shortly before the login issues that my password was not secure enough and I had to update it, but I couldn’t login due to email issues. There are years of work in that site and I hate to lose that-thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
