Inbound Internal Link Counter Not working

    When uploading a lot of new posts, I noticed that the INBOUND internal link counter wasn’t populating. (Outbound is, and on a brief check appears to be correct).

    Installed the Yoast Text Plugin and reset the internal link counts

    Re Ran the SEO /Count Links in Post.

    Still not showing “inbound internal links”. But it seems to be random. If there are links in the post when I copy the content in from Word, they do not appear. If I then go into the post and add internal links they appear in the counter.

    does it matter the way in which I add the links?

    If I paste in the full link e.g. https://domain.com/category/post/ rather than typing into the box and waiting for the correct internal post to appear (which is a lot slower)
