Email not reaching recipient – Gmail Mailer

    Hi Everyone, I have the mailer set as Gmail and emails from my site are not reaching the recipient Gmail address even though they are appearing in the Sent folder in my own Gmail account. All suggestions welcome!

    Hi @onlyone4ever

    I am glad to help. In this case there is a chance your are having deliverability issues, sometimes it can be due to lack of proper DMARC, SPF, or DKIM.

    The first step is to send a test email from WP Mail SMTP > Tools to a couple email addresses.

    • If they go out fine, it means the WP Mail SMTP plugin is configured properly.
    • If you get an on-screen error there is a “See Full Error Log” button if you scroll a bit, click it to see more details about the error.
    • If you get a warning, there are links and or instructions on how to fix things.

    Please try that and share the results.

    Also let me know if you are using the “Other SMTP” option or the One-click method to connect your Google account.
