We have an affiliate partner update their website and point to our website correctly using the affiliate suffix at the end of the url (/?aff=<affiliate ID> ). SliceWP is capturing the incoming referral traffic, but for some reason sliceWP is not capturing the referrer URL. I know for certain that this traffic landed as a result of clicking the referral link on the partner website. Why don’t I have the referrer URL?

Also FYI The said URL is embedded in an image

    Hey @cpsecpuser,

Thank you for reaching out!  Browsers don’t always share this information, and when they don’t, the field is left blank.

This can happen for a number of common reasons: the visitor came from a bookmark or typed the URL directly, they clicked the link from an email or messaging app, or their browser is configured to protect privacy by not disclosing where they came from. This is standard browser behavior and not something the plugin controls. The visit itself is still recorded correctly, and the affiliate will still receive credit for any conversion.

Even so, can you please open a technical issue support ticket via our website (here: https://slicewp.com/contact/) and share with me the website where this referral link is added? I’d like to inspect it further to see if maybe there are other aspects that can be addressed.

    Thank you and best wishes,

    Mihai
