    Hello,

from few days ago I noticed that every wp-admin event is shown on Google Analytics realtime reports.

Events like creating new pages, editing orders, etc.
    How I can disable that?
This is making too much noise and it can mess up the real data.

I don’t see the settings that can disable this.
Can you help since this wasn’t happening before.

I have Google Analyitics for WooCommerce  2.3.0
And I have manual header and body script for Google Tag Manager.
There shouldn’t be a plugin conflict with something else.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @balavander

Thanks for the additional information. I understand your concern about wp-admin events appearing in your Google Analytics real-time reports.

To help us narrow down the cause, could you please let us know if you made any changes to your site shortly before this issue started? For example, did you install or update any plugins, change your Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager configuration, or make any other changes?

Also, are you using a manually added Google Analytics tracking code in addition to the Google Analytics for WooCommerce plugin?

I checked the source of your site, and I can see a Google Analytics tracking script being loaded. However, it doesn’t appear to be the standard tracking code output by the Google Analytics for WooCommerce plugin, so it’s possible that another integration or custom implementation is responsible for injecting it.

To help us investigate further, could you please share your WooCommerce System Status Report?

You can copy it from WooCommerce → Status and paste it into Pastebin:
    https://pastebin.com/

When creating the Pastebin, please enable the “Burn after read” option before sharing the link here, as it helps keep your site’s information private.

Once we have the System Status Report, we’ll be happy to take a closer look.

    Hello!

Here is the pastebin for WooCommerce Status:
    https://pastebin.com/nUqchQNN

I made few changes regarding Google Ads tracking and some errors maybe 2 weeks ago.
    1. I removed Google Sitekit since it was conflicting with Google Ads tracking (removed connection with Google Analytics and Google TagManager)
    2. Also remove RankMath integration with GoogleAnalytics
    3. Changed on CloudFlare proxy settings for my website to “Proxied” and added Custom rule to block traffic outside of the Europe, since there was a lot of strange traffic from Asia and South Amaerica last 2 weeks (I think bots)

Currently I only have installed Google Analytics for WooCommerce and manually added GoogleTag script into header.

I see the difference in correct Google Ads tracking and strange traffic from Asia seems to be fine, but in last few days I notice that when I’m working on Admin panel, that I see all the events in the Google Analytics (which didn’t happen before)

If you have experience in this field please advise me how to fix it.

    Update:

I noticed that when I disable on CloudFlare Google tag gateway
It seems that wp-admin events are not showing anymore.

But if you have better solution, please share it.

    Hi @balavander!

Thanks for the update and for testing that.

Since disabling Cloudflare’s Google Tag Gateway stops the wp-admin events from appearing in Google Analytics, it suggests that the behavior is related to the Google Tag Gateway configuration rather than the Google Analytics for WooCommerce plugin itself.

Please note that, We only provide support for the core features of the Google Analytics for WooCommerce plugin. Since this behavior appears to be related to Cloudflare’s Google Tag Gateway, I would recommend contacting the Cloudflare support team and asking them to help review its configuration and resolve the issue. As they maintain the feature, they’ll be in the best position to assist with its settings and troubleshooting.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
