GTranslate widget not rendering
-
The GTranslate floating widget does not appear anywhere on the site,
despite being correctly configured (Widget look: Float, floating
language selector: Bottom Right, multiple languages selected including
Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, etc.).WHAT WE’VE CONFIRMED (via browser DevTools inspection on the live site):
- The widget’s wrapper div IS present in the page HTML:
- However, this div renders with 0 height and appears to have no child
content inside it (collapsed/empty in the DOM tree). - No CSS is hiding it (checked Computed styles — no display:none or
visibility:hidden found). - This suggests the widget’s JavaScript never populates the div with
the actual flag/dropdown content.
SUSPECTED CAUSE:

script is being deferred and never executes in time to populate the
widget.QUESTION:
Is there a documented way to exclude GTranslate’s script specifically
from JS deferral in LiteSpeed Cache, without disabling JS Deferred
site-wide (which would hurt our page speed scores)? If so, what is the
exact script filename/handle we should add to LiteSpeed’s exclude list? Our main use case is Hindi translation for a Hindi-speaking audience
on specific landing pages — we don’t need full multi-language SEO,
just a working, reliable widget for one or two priority pages. - The widget’s wrapper div IS present in the page HTML:
