Plugin was disabled automatically

    For anyone else who runs into this issue, it happened because the plugin dev team renamed the main plugin file.

    To resolve:

    1. Log into WordPress, go to “Plugins”
    2. Click “Update” to get the latest plugin version
    3. Refresh the Plugins page (otherwise it’ll say the plugin does not exist)
    4. Click “Activate”

    That’s it! All settings remain active and you’re good to go.

    You are correct, and I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused.

    This issue occurred because the plugin’s main file name was changed in the previous update. WordPress stores the exact file path of an active plugin, so when that file was renamed, WordPress could no longer locate it and automatically deactivated the plugin.

    After updating to the latest version, the plugin may be deactivated one final time. Once the update is complete, please go to the Plugins page and activate it again. WordPress will then register the correct plugin file path.

    Your existing plugin settings will remain unchanged, as they are stored in the WordPress database.
