Like others, we are having issues with the Constant Contact plug-in disconnecting from our website and I continually have to have our website host company re-connect for me. The plug-in is the latest version, but support from Enter.net says “The plugin is up to date, but it’s still having trouble refreshing the API tokens.” I don’t know how to attach, but if someone can give me their email address, I can send the .txt file for the latest debug logs.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Any news or changes here @zachphillippi

Can you try deactivating and then re-activating the plugin? that clears out extra details around connection processes, and provides a more cleaner slate.

My website hosting company support team has tried that multiple times for me, and the issue still seems to always come back eventually. I’m not sure what else we can try, but it does cost us missed subscribers to our weekly retail ad if they’re unable to sign up reliably, which is quite frustrating to say the least.

Can you or someone on the support team trying things, visit the Constant Contact Settings page, and the “Support” tab, to reveal a hidden debug log page? We can get the plugin’s debug log reviewed afterwards to see what may be going on there.

    From the Enter.net support team:

    “Hi Zach,

We actually had done that already, so we could send you the debug logs. After logging into the site just now, I can see the plugin is disconnected again, so I’ll need to send you a code. Let me know when you’re available to do that.

After we get it reconnected, I’ll send you a fresh debug log again to share with their Support. In the meantime, our server team didn’t see anything on the server blocking the Constant Contact plugin, but they recommended updating the website’s cron to run every 5 minutes to help the plugin. The website currently is using the default WordPress cron. I’m just waiting for them to make that change.”

I can send the latest debug logs if you want to share your email address. Thanks, Zach

Sending to wordpresssupport@constantcontact.com should reach appropriate people.
