    Hello @masc,

Thanks for using Yoast SEO, but your XML sitemap index should be at /sitemap_index.xml/, which isn’t displaying as Yoast’s. That needs to be fixed before the “non-existing URL” issue.

Do you have another plugin for generating XML sitemaps? Please deactivate that. More importantly, navigate to the root folder of your website files and delete any XML sitemap file present. There should not be a physical sitemap file present.

Do let us know how it goes.

Apart from deactivating a third-party sitemap plugin, ensure that you do not have a physical sitemap file in your website’s root folder.

At the moment, your XML sitemap isn’t generatred by Yoast SEO. For instance, our plugin doesn’t add <changefreq>daily</changefreq> to sitemaps.

Can I disable WordPress’s sitemap and activate yours?

Yes. When you enable the XML sitemap feature in Yoast SEO, our plugin automatically overrides and disables WordPress’s default built-in sitemap to prevent any conflicts.
