Hey I have some problems with installing license on a page

I have tried yesterday with multiple mails, and also today. The same results:

    Error Installing License

An error occurred while installing your license key.

Please try again. If the problem persists, please contact Wordfence Support

    Hi @mbs1337,

Thank you for reaching out. I took a look, and the REST API on your site is returning extra content that shouldn’t be there (a block of HTML comments before the actual data) at wp-json/wordfence/v1

That corrupts the response the plugin reads back when it activates a key and may cause issues with your license installation. You can try installing the key manually at Wordfence > All Options > Wordfence License, but it may fail due to the corrupted response.

More importantly, that extra output is being added to every response on your site, which can be a sign that something has modified your site’s files. We always recommend making a full backup of your site before making any changes.

We advise you to update your passwords for your hosting control panel, FTP,  existing WordPress admin users, and database if somebody has gained access to modify any files. Make sure to do this.

I will provide our site cleaning instructions for you below, which may be useful to check :

Additionally, you might find the WordPress Malware Removal section in our free Learning Center helpful. We provide a site cleaning service should you need further assistance, as do other companies.

    Thanks,
    Margaret

Hi and thanks for the look. I have now cleaned the REST api so it is clean now.

And now when I try to install the license, it says that the license is installed okay. And I can return to my dashboard. When I click on that button, it return to dashboard, but says wordfence needs to be install and then a button to resume installation.

I have disabled cache. Don’t know why this is happening?
