Date format in events list

    Just a very minor issue: I’ve set all the date formats in the back-end (Settings > General > Date and Time) according to my wishes, and my WordPress installation is also set to use de_DE.

    In the front-end, Event Genius uses my date formats correctly, but in the back-end event list (Events > All Events), it seems to draw on two other sources for date formats:

    • For all-day events, it seems to use the date format defined in my WordPress settings (e.g. 30. Juli 2026). This is fine.
    • For events with a specified time, it uses 30/07/2026 plus the time according to the format I’ve set.

    The 30/07/2026 seems to be a non-localized date format because we never use the slash for dates in German and I didn’t specify this anywhere. May I suggest to use a short format as specified in Settings > General > Date and Time in both cases (either “Summary” plus the time or “Registration deadline”)?

    Sorry I see that there was no response here!

    This was just fixed in version 1.16.1. Please update and let me know if there is still any issues.

    Hi Craig,
    It seems that my WordPress installation won’t let me update if the version change is after the second dot. I have version 1.16 installed, and it shows me that the most recent version is 1.16.1, but no Update button. Looks like I’ll have to wait until version 1.17. But then, it’s not a pressing issue, so no worries.

    Ahh I bet it’s related to WordPress.org’s new policy of reviewing all code changes before allowing updates for security reasons. If you check tomorrow updates may be available.
