Disabling sharing interface on archive page

    Is there a way to disable the sharing bar while keeping the archive feature active?

    I’m talking about this text:
    “Share this email Copy the public link or share it on your favorite channel.”
    and the adjacent sharing buttons.

    This is only happening for newer newsletters and I’m not seeing a way to disable it per newsletter or globally.

    Hi there,

    I understand you are looking for a way to disable the “Sharing bar” on the emails in your archive, like this one:

    There are two settings involved for this.

    First, in your plugin settings, you can set the “Default email sharing visibility” setting under MailPoet > Settings > Advanced to “Private”. This will determine the private/shared setting for new emails, or old emails without anything set.

    Then, for individual emails, you can switch them to Private using the “Make Private” option in the Actions column of your MailPoet > Newsletters page:

    After selecting that for the same email on my own site, I reopened the email and see that the sharing bar is gone.
