Hi everyone, I’m having a problem with the menu for sent newsletters—I can’t see any of them. When I click to create a new email and select a template that I know is saved, it doesn’t load it. I ran some tests using the AI bot on the site; here’s the log:

Looking over these error messages, it suggests that there is some kind of bad data or invalid character in a subject line in one of your emails. If this just started happening recently after a long time of successful sending, then it’s most likely one of your more recent emails.

If you can view your database directly via phpMyAdmin via your hosting account, you could take a look at this table: wp_mailpoet_newsletters

Find the “subject” field for the most recent newsletters and if there are any odd characters (HTML markup, emojis, non-standard letters/numbers) then remove them from the database, and see if that will get your Emails list page to load.

Similarly, you could just do a database backup from before the issue -> perhaps to a staging copy -> and figure out the difference, and remove any newsletter templates since the restore point.

The other potential root cause could be your PHP memory settings. Under MailPoet > Help > System Info, you should see a line for PHP info, like this:

PHP info: PHP max_execution_time: 850 - PHP memory_limit: 512M - PHP upload_max_filesize: 2047M - PHP post_max_size: 2047M

The numbers shown here are on the high side, but in general you would want to see a max_execution_time of at least 300, and try raising it to 500 or 600 as a test (this would be done via your website hosting account, reach out to your website host for help if needed). Similarly, the memory_limit should be at least 512, and the file size parameters should also be at least 512, but 1024 is better, especially if you are sending large, long emails.

Thank you for sending the additional logs and the database export.

I checked the wp_mailpoet_newsletters table, and the newsletter records appear structurally healthy. The email bodies contain valid data, and I could not find malformed subject lines or invalid characters that would explain the issue. For that reason, I do not recommend editing or deleting any newsletter records at this stage.

The most relevant warning is this one:

unserialize(): Error at offset 613 of 700 bytes in MailPoet/lib/Entities/SettingEntity.php

This points to a damaged serialized value in the wp_mailpoet_settings database table rather than the newsletters table.

Please take a complete database backup first. After that, could you send us a private export of the wp_mailpoet_settings table? Please do not post it publicly, since the table may contain sensitive MailPoet configuration. You can send it via this link: https://www.mailpoet.com/support/sales-pre-sales-questions/. Also, copy this forum thread and paste it as well so we can have context.

Please also update MailPoet to the latest available version after creating the backup. The update may not repair the damaged value automatically, but it will ensure we are troubleshooting with the current plugin version.

The repeated Commands out of sync errors involve several different plugins and WordPress processes, so please also ask your hosting provider to investigate the MariaDB connection errors. These appear to be separate from the newsletter content itself.

For now, please do not import the newsletter export, delete the newsletters table, or delete the complete MailPoet settings table. Once we identify the affected setting, we can safely reset only that value and test the result on staging.
