Thank you for the feedback, and sorry for the frustration.
The WPForms plugin isn’t bundled or installed automatically with WP Mail SMTP. It only appears as an optional install inside our Setup Wizard, and only gets added if that specific checkbox is selected during setup. If it landed on your site, it means it was checked (sometimes easy to miss) rather than installed without consent.
You can safely deactivate and delete WPForms from Plugins if you don’t need it – it won’t affect WP Mail SMTP’s functionality.
We’ll keep looking at ways to make that step clearer in the Setup Wizard, so this is less confusing going forward.
