This is the Auto-Apply feature, and it already supports Pages – it just needs one setting.
Category descriptions work because you turned on “Collapse taxonomy descriptions”.
Regular Pages are controlled separately, by the post-type list. Here is how to enable them:
- Go to RMWR Settings > Auto Content.
- Make sure “Enable Auto-Apply” is checked.
- In “Auto-Apply post types”, tick “Pages” (in addition to whatever is already selected).
- Optionally set “Visible words before collapse”.
- Save.
Your Pages will then auto-collapse just like your category descriptions.
If it still does not apply on a specific page, that page is likely built by a page builder
(Elementor, Divi, etc.) that bypasses the standard content output. In that case, drop the
[read] shortcode directly on that page and it will work. Let me know your setup if so.
