Best setup on WP multisite

    Hi,

    I need to user this plugin on a multisite WP. I noticed that I can only network activate it (i.e. no options to activate on a single site instance), which is already not ideal.

    I then found that the settings too are only available at network level, meaning that they will apply to all subsite.

    Is this the only way to use it on a multisite installation?

    That is correct — multisite is network only. As users are shared across multisite, user-related functions are inherently network-wide.
