I rearranged the images in one of my galleries using drag-and-drop, hit update, but when I go back to check, the order has reverted to the upload order. Tested in two different browsers with the same result.

Thanks for reaching out, and sorry for the hassle with the image ordering, I know it’s frustrating to arrange everything nicely only to see it snap back to the upload order. This kind of behavior is usually not a bug in Robo Gallery itself, but rather a conflict with another plugin or a JavaScript error on the page that’s preventing the new order from being saved properly. Since you’ve already confirmed it happens in two different browsers, that does point more toward a site-level conflict rather than something browser-specific, which is helpful.

Here’s what I’d suggest trying next:

    1. Check for plugin conflicts, temporarily deactivate any plugins you’re not actively using (especially other gallery, caching, or optimization plugins), then try reordering the images again to see if the issue goes away.

    2. Clear your browser cache, sometimes an old cached version of a script can interfere with the drag-and-drop save function, so a full cache clear (not just a refresh) is worth trying.

    3. Check your browser console for errors, open the developer tools (usually F12) on the gallery edit page, switch to the Console tab, and try reordering again. If any red error messages pop up, that will help pinpoint the cause.

If you do spot any errors in the console, or if the plugin conflict test doesn’t resolve it, please open a support request in our local ticket system with the details (which plugins are active, any console errors, and your WordPress/PHP version if handy). That will let us dig in more specifically to your setup.

Thanks for your patience, and let us know how it goes!
