I’m working on a dual language website and the client wants us to show only the posts for the selected language. I’m using Divi 4.7.x and want to know if it’s possible to hide the Divi Blog Module based on the selected language. Currently, the blog module shows both languages.

My plan is to have the primary blog module showing only the primary language posts and create a second blog module displaying only the secondary language posts when the secondary language is selected.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

What your client is looking for is outside the way TranslatePress works.

TranslatePress doesn’t create separate posts for each language. Instead, it uses a single WordPress post and displays its translated version based on the currently selected language. Each translated version is available under its own virtual language subdirectory (for example, /en/ or /fr/), but they all correspond to the same underlying post.

For this reason, the Divi Blog Module will always display the same posts, with their content shown in the visitor’s selected language. It doesn’t display one set of posts for one language and a different set for another.

TranslatePress does provide the option to exclude entire posts from translation. Those excluded posts will always remain in the default language, regardless of the selected language. However, there is no feature to exclude posts only for specific languages or to display different post lists depending on the selected language.

    Best Regards,
