    Hi @wp207,

    Thank you for reaching out.

Optimole automatically detects what your visitors’ browsers support and serves the best image format for them (AVIF, WebP, or the original format as a fallback). Everything is handled on our end.

Want to check which format is being served?

    1. Open your site in Chrome
    2. Right-click any image → click Inspect
    3. Go to the Network tab and reload the page
    4. Click on an image — check the Content-Type header on the right → It will show image/avifimage/webp, or the original format

You can also look at the image URL itself. Optimole-processed images are served via the CDN (i.optimole.com) and the URL will contain parameters encoding quality, dimensions, and format.

For optimization we recommend you follow this guide: https://docs.optimole.com/wordpress-plugin/choose-the-best-optimization-preset-for-your-website

Hope this helps and have a great day!
