Forced styles precludes bold, italic etc.

Because the customisation available for labels in styles is limited to dimensions, colour and border AND inherit from styles is forced, it does not seem to be possible to apply any wider types of customisation like font, size, bold/italic/underline etc..

I appreciate the need for consistency and would happily go with forced styles if that included a wider set of options. Am I missing some option or is this something that could be fixed?
