Request: please add translation/i18n support

    Hello,

    I’m a Japanese translator and I came across your plugin “Dinosaur Game” — it’s simple, fun, and I think it would make a great teaching example for translation beginners. I’d like to translate it into Japanese and also use it as material for a translation workshop at the Chiba WordPress Meetup, where I’ll be the instructor.

    However, I noticed on translate.wordpress.org that the plugin is not yet prepared for localization, so translations can’t be imported until that’s set up. Would it be possible for you to make the plugin translatable?

    Ok I have released a new version with translation support. Plugin releases go public with a delay now, so it will take a number of hours before you see the update. And then a few more hours after that for plugin strings to get imported into translate.wordpress.org as available for translation. Or at least I think that’s how it works (this is my first time making a plugin translatable).

    For your workshop, just so that you know, there is one translatable string in the plugin, which is “The dinosaur game can only be used once per page.” So there is not much to translate but perhaps that makes it a good teaching example. If you’d rather not wait on translate.wordpress.org, the plugin zip includes languages/dinosaur-game.pot that you can translate from directly.

    Thank you very much for the quick update!

    I tested the new version, and the translated string is working correctly. “プラグインを有効化します。” appeared as expected.

    I’ll be using this plugin at the Chiba WordPress Meetup translation workshop on August 23, and it will be a great example for the participants.
