    When an IP address is reported to abuseipdb, the username and URL are displayed in the comment by default. It would be nice if users could customize the comments themselves in the future or control whether this information should be publicly visible.

    Thanks for the great suggestion! This is now implemented in version 1.0.4:

    • By default, report comments no longer include the site URL or username — privacy by default.
    • You can customize the comment template in Settings → Brute-Force Protection, with placeholders: {attempts}, {window}, {username}, {site}.
    • Developers can also use the granipfi_report_comment filter.

    Update to 1.0.4 and the new default will apply automatically.
