• When I view an image with high resolution (7680 x 3840) i supposed it should appear sharper and with more detailed zoom capabilities. It does not, instead it’s even blurrier than the same image with lower resolution. On the page mentioned above there are two pictures of a cannon, the upper one is 2560×1280, the one under it is 7680×3840.
So – is there any reason to use high-res images with Photo Sphere Viewer?

    Hi Erik,

Thank you for your detailed report.

In general, higher-resolution images should provide better detail when zooming. If the 7680×3840 image appears blurrier than the 2560×1280 version, that isn’t expected behavior.

We’ll investigate this on the page you shared to determine what’s causing the issue. If we identify a problem in the plugin, we’ll include a fix in an upcoming update.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention!

    Best regards,
    Afnan
