Payment Issue since new update

Hello, payment issue’s have been happening since this new update. When a user clicks on the express checkout, they just get the below rendered in a popup:

Subject: PayPal smart button / hosted checkout reaches PayPal, then no WooCommerce logs are created

I’m trying to diagnose a failed PayPal checkout on a WooCommerce site using the Payment Plugins PayPal / PPCP integration. The customer appears to reach PayPal’s hosted checkout/login flow, but I can’t find any matching WooCommerce or PayPal plugin server-side logs for the attempt.

What I can see from the browser/front-end PayPal payload:

– Environment: production
– Buyer country: GB
– Flow: EC_ONE_TIME_CHECKOUT
– Integration artifact: PAYPAL_JS_SDK
– Plugin attribution shown in SDK metadata: PaymentPlugins_PCP
– Woo return endpoint present: /wc-api/ppcp_checkout_return/
– PayPal redirect reason shown: stepup
– PayPal hosted page shows Tokenized Login / Password UI, with passkey/iPhone Safari references
– No WooCommerce server-side log entry appears for the redacted PayPal order token/time

My question: does this look like a PayPal hosted login/auth/session issue before WooCommerce receives anything useful, or could the plugin/browser-side smart button callback be failing before server-side logging?
