CreativeWork schema: author handling and entity references
-
Hi, it’s me again π
Sorry for another question β I promise this is the last one for today.
I’m currently trying to implement a
CreativeWorkschema for a PDF case study, and I’ve run into another limitation that I’m not sure how to solve with SASWP.Here’s what I’m seeing:
- Author / Editor
Even if I manually configure the Author, SASWP still outputs the underlying WordPress page author/editor. The only workaround I found was changing the WordPress author of the page itself. Is there a way to completely override the automatically generated author/editor forCreativeWork? - Author object
The “Author” field seems to behave differently fromAuthor Type+Author Name. In some cases it appears to output the publisher instead of the actual author. Could you explain the intended difference between these options? - Multiple authors
Our case study was created jointly by both managing directors. Is there a supported way to output multiplePersonauthors, or is SASWP currently limited to a single author? - Referencing existing entities
We already created separatePersonschemas for both managing directors and anOrganizationschema for the company. Is there a way to reference these existing entities (via@id) instead of creating new author/editor objects every time?
At the moment everything works, but it feels like SASWP generates new objects instead of connecting the existing ones, so the structured data becomes fragmented.
Thanks again for your help and your patience! I really appreciate it.
That’s it for today, I promise. π
