• Hello all

I use the Gutenberg Block “Newest Comment” on the Home on my site. In the editor can see all comments, include the reactions from Fediverse. But on the site direct are the comment from Fediverse not viewable.

What is here the problem and the solution?

    Hey @thofied 👋

what do you mean with “comment from Fediverse”? There is no specific comment form for fediverse comments. Everyone is using their mastodon instance to comment/like/share your posts.

    Hello Matthias

    Yes, is not really comment…

View in the editor same as the other blog-comments, with avatar etc. but the comment is then (of german) “… gefiel dies”.

The fediverse-reaction i use under Posts, but here on the home-site i want show all reaction from both.
    In the editor views all.
when you need i can send a screenshot.

Ah, I see! You would love to have a block to show all the latest likes/shares independently from a specific post!?

I want that show all in the block “newest comments” 🙂
Thats view all correct in the editor, but not on live-site.

I can send a screenshot, for better understand.

I have placed in a site short

That is a tricky one! We hide the reactions in frontend queries, so they do not show up along the comments in the comments section of a post. I could provide you a snippet to have an exception on the frontpage.

I think this is a very special case/combination, so I think this is hard to generally fix in the plugin.

Yes, a code-snippet, very gladly. I use all with chlid themes, and can put in the functions.
    Many thanks!

In general, I think that’s a good option for this site (storiethek) It show the Fediverse functionality. Eventually is it better this make optional in the plugin? … in the future.
